DAY 01: HANOI ARRIVAL

On arrival in Hanoi, our local tour guide will meet you at Noi Bai Internation airport (Flight TBA) and transfer to check in hotel. Free at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 02: HANOI CITY TOUR

AM: After breakfast at hotel, get on bus and drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 02nd September 1945, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi – It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus. Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple. Visit Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature – The first Imperal school in Vietnam) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly. Have lunch at local restaurant.

PM: This afternoon we drive to visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum (close on every Monday), it is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. As well as the comprehensive array of exhibits inside, there are also traditional tribal houses reconstructed within the grounds. Visit a complex of the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple (Jade mountain Temple), But Tower (Pen – shaped tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), the Red – painted wooden The Huc bridge…. Have a cyclo (pedicab) trip around with 36 streets of Hanoi old quarter. Enjoy the special Vietnam traditional Water Puppet show. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 03: HANOI – HALONG BAY

Morning depart for Halong Bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting five hours cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Itinerary visit Thien Cung cave, Dau Go grottoes, Dog islet and Fighting Cock islet… Overnight at hotel.

DAY 04: HALONG BAY – HAI PHONG – HO CHI MINH CITY

Free at your leisure till tranfer to Hai Phong for city tour: Du Hang Pagoda, Hang Kenh Communal House. Lunch at local restaurant and departure for Sai Gon. Arrival Ho Chi Minh city, pick up at the airport transfer to city center for check in hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 05: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR – CU CHI TUNNELS

After breakfast, enjoy a 2-hour drive northwest of Sai Gon to the Cu Chi tunnels, through urbanized areas and a lush southern Vietnamese countryside. This tunnel complex was dug in 1948 for the guerrillas to hide from French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as communication routes, food and weapon caches, and as hospitals and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the American war. Visit the underground villages to better understand the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese people’s resilience during combat. PM: Saigon city tour with: Opera House, a three-story classical theatre built to entertain the French colonists (outdoor visit); the former Hotel de Ville constructed for the French bureaucrats of Indochina in 1901, now The People’s Committee building with no public access; the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunningly massive red-brick edifice with twin spires, a clear reminder that French once ruled this city (open only 3-4pm every day, otherwise just an outdoor visit); the Central Post Office influenced by Renaissance architecture; and the former Presidential Palace, headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American war. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 06: HO CHI MINH CITY – CAI BE – VINH LONG – HO CHI MINH

Early morning depart to Cai Be, embark a private boat to cruise around Cai Be floating market to see local people being selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Visit local garden and house to see orchard, rice crisped producing process, etc.. cruising along river to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural setting of Mekong Delta region. About 15h00, the boat will arrive at Vinh Long Market, walking around to explore Vinh Long Market. Drive back to Sai Gon. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 07: HO CHI MINH – SIEM REAP

After breakfast, transfer to airport for a flight to Siem Reap. Upond arrival, you will be picked up by our local tour guide and transfer to the hotel check in. The same afternoon, visiting the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature and other surrounded temples. Have an Elephan ride and have dinner at local restaurant with Apsara dance show. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 08: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel: The sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with colums, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. This afternoon, you will take Tuk Tuk ride to complete your tours with a last visit to the floating village of Choueng Kneas, where you can find school restaurants, hospital, schooles and the floated forests on the great lake of Tonle Sap. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 09: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE

Breakfast at hotel, free at leisure untill transfer to the airport for the flight to your home or next destination. End of the tour.
